Week of Prayer: Day 1

Arise. Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. Isaiah 60:1-2

This week we are focusing on intentional prayer for the trafficking industry. We believe that praying for justice is vital for ending trafficking and sexual exploitation. For this week of prayer, we will be focusing each day on different parts of the trafficking industry and the cultural climate of sexual exploitation and praying specific, bold prayers for each aspect.

Hey God,

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to join you in bringing justice and freedom to your enslaved sons and daughters. Thank you for the headway you’ve already established in the fight against trafficking, and for all you will do. Lord, we come to you today asking for your guidance as you call us to bring light into the darkness. We ask that you lead your Church toward a wholesome lifestyle that stands out in a take down world. Help us to exude your love to the the darkest nations of the earth that they may know you. Bless us with your glory, and give us discernment to hear your voice over whatever the world attempts to tell us. Give us hearts for your children and passionate fire in our soul to fight injustice. Father, help us join forces and rise against our common enemy and bring restoration and healing to your children. Thank you for your faithfulness and the grace you endlessly give us. Thank you for being constant in love, both in the light and in the darkness. Let your will be done through us.
