Week of Prayer: Day 2

The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. Psalm 103:6

This week we are focusing on intentional prayer for the trafficking industry. We believe that praying for justice is vital for ending trafficking and sexual exploitation. For this week of prayer, we will be focusing each day on different parts of the trafficking industry and the cultural climate of sexual exploitation and praying specific, bold prayers for each aspect.

Hey God,

Thank you for your ever-present love and affection. Thank you for being a gracious Father and for meeting us where we are. God, today we come together to pray for victims of sex trafficking or any kind of sexual abuse or exploitation. We pray that you would bring hope and healing into their lives, and that you would restore them to your glory. Lord, we pray that each day you would reveal yourself and give victims your strength to lean on. Place your protective hand over the men, women, and children that are enslaved. Deliver these victims from their oppressors, and bring them into your light. Father, bless them with easy access to the resources they need for rescue and restoration. We know that you are faithful to your promises, and we ask that you bring constant reminders of your promises to those who are enslaved. Thank you for the way you love your children. Thank you for being a God of healing and deliverance. We praise you for all that you are.

Amen.

  1. This is awesome. Two spring breaks ago I went to Houston on a mission trip and we learned a ton about trafficking. My roommates sister is working their now with the victims and God is doing a lot! I will be praying for her and for God to move in the ladies lives she encounters.
