Week of Prayer: Day 3

Repent, then, of this evil plan of yours, and pray to the Lord that He will forgive you for thinking such a thing as this. Acts 8:22

This week we are focusing on intentional prayer for the trafficking industry. We believe that praying for justice is vital for ending trafficking and sexual exploitation. For this week of prayer, we will be focusing each day on different parts of the trafficking industry and the cultural climate of sexual exploitation and praying specific, bold prayers for each aspect.

Hey God,

Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for going before us and forgiving all the sins we will ever commit in advance, and thank you for sacrificing your Son for the price of these sins. Thank you for your passion for seeing justice delivered to your children. God, today we pray for traffickers and sex buyers. There are so many players in the role of exploiting others for sex, and we pray that you help them recognize their egregious actions and repent from their life of sin. Father, we know this is your heart for these men and women, and we ask that you reveal yourself to them. We ask that these traffickers and those who exploit women and children around the world would be brought into the light and into the face of justice. Lord, you have no rival, and this includes those who try to exploit your children. We pray that these people would be able to see your face and tremble in your presence – that they would know that they are fighting a losing battle. God, turn these traffickers into advocates against trafficking. Help sex buyers turn to a lifestyle that honors women. We know you can bring deliverance to the most hopeless situations. We praise you for all we will see you do in this fight against injustice, and we thank you for being a Father who fights for his lost children.
